To participate in Grand Camp an individual must first be a member of a local Camp of the Alaska Native Brotherhood or the Alaska Native Sisterhood. Many communities have local camps. If your community does not, it is possible to start a new Camp by having 7 like minded individuals meet, contact us and request a charter. If your community has already had a camp, but it is not active, it is possible to reinstate that camp's charter by having meetings. In order to elect officers other requirements exists but it basically only takes 5 members to have regular meetings and the payment of dues to the Grand Camp to reinstate the camp's credentials.
